Practical details

Methodology and structure 
This will be a two-day consultation with 20 participants. The sessions will be organized around the main themes and the objectives. There will be short presentations in plenary on the various themes followed by small-group discussions to deepen understanding. Participants will be requested to contribute to the plenary discussions by giving short presentations on the key themes, setting out the issues that they have been working on.

Participants
The meeting is for practitioners, activists, researchers and academics who have being studying and working on gender issues and access to justice in the region.

Location
The conference will be held at the Centre for Applied Legal Studies (CALS), University of the Witswatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
