International gender conferences
KIT's area for Social Development & Gender Equity is organizing a series of conferences to review almost twenty years of international, regional and national experiences of producing, teaching and disseminating knowledge on gender for and within development institutions.
The overall aim of these conferences is to generate a holistic understanding of the kinds of gender knowledge being used and the way this is produced, communicated and disseminated in research, development practice and advocacy for development. This focus will enable researchers, practitioners and academics to share knowledge and dialogue on ways forward to achieve change. It will also provide a common framework for researchers and practitioners working in diverse development fields and sectors to take the gender equality agenda forward.
