Cooperation Elsevier and KIT extended for five years
Researchers in developing countries get access to Elsevier’s databases ScienceDirect and Scopus. After a successful three year pilot period, Elsevier and KIT signed a unique five year agreement on the 26th of August which provides 150 organizations in the least developed countries with full-text access to the well-known databases ScienceDirect and Scopus. Wireless in KIT Library
As from now there is wireless access to the Internet. Available in Readingroom and library for every visitor.

Computers in KIT library
As from now the computers in the library can not only be used for searching the cataloque, but also as a PC. It is possible to use a USB-stick, to work in Word and send documents by e-mail.

KIT Library added to Picarta and WorldCat
KIT Library has added its collection to the Shared Automated Cataloguing System in the Netherlands, known as GGC for short. The collection is also visible in WorldCat, the world's largest network of library content.
