ECTS

The European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) facilitates the transfer of course credits between different institutions of the same academic level. A study load of 30 hours of formal teaching and private study is equivalent to one ECTS credit point.

This course is worth 4 ECTS.

  • Total online contact time: 30 hours (per week: 1 hour as tutorial, 2 hours in unguided peer group discussions)
  • Self-directed learning: 90 hours
  • Total student investment time: 120 hours (per week: about 12 hours)

Accreditation

This course is accredited by tropEd, a network of European institutions for higher education in international health. The course can be taken as an advanced module for the Master in International Health programme organized by KIT and other institutes in the tropEd network.
