Working for KIT

KIT is an organization constantly on the move. It offers reliability and expertise, as well as innovation. These are qualities which appeal to our clients, partners and staff, and which influence the workplace environment. The organization is characterized by individual initiative, a keen eye for developments in the outside world, and a strong focus on developments in both internal and external cooperation.

International and cultural atmosphere

People from a wide variety of cultural and professional backgrounds work for KIT. We are  internationally active in 70 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. Of its 450 staff, 150 regularly conduct short or long field trips, while others are permanently stationed abroad. KIT's extensive building houses a library, a museum and a theatre which KIT staff may enjoy either free or at a reduced charge. Students from all over the world take part in courses at KIT's training centre.

Businesslike as well as idealistic

The wide variety of activities taking place under one roof ensures a diverse and inspiring working environment. KIT is aware of the need to operate in a businesslike and competitive manner within the framework of international cooperation. At the same time, however, KIT still values idealistic goals. It is this combination that appeals to many KIT employees.
