Meeting rooms
Organizing an event at KIT
KIT offers stylish accommodations for single or multiple-day conferences, symposiums, meetings and receptions. The KIT building, an Amsterdam landmark built in neo-renaissance style, is also a favourite location for weddings.
The traditionally furnished halls and rooms can be used individually or in combination. Before an event, we discuss with the client about which rooms and services will best suit their specific requirements.
Technical facilities
All rooms are equipped with modern conference facilities, professional audiovisual and ICT equipment. Technical support is available.
Hotel
Situated next door to KIT, the 80-room NH Tropenhotel offers comfortable and convenient overnight accommodation.
Tours
Group visits to the Tropenmuseum and tours of the KIT building can also be arranged.

Beneath the arches
|
A brightly lit, elegant venue located between the Marble Hall and the smaller meeting rooms. It is an ideal place to have coffee and tea, a reception, or a meet-and-greet buffet. A small group could very easily have lunch here too. |

The Maurits Chamber is a tranquil meeting room with its own unique atmosphere. It is an excellent venue for symposia, discussions, meetings, presentations, press conferences or a wedding.
|
|
Main Auditorium
|
A nicely finished auditorium with a permanent theatre layout and a large stage (behind which are stage and dressing rooms). Suitable for openings and plenary sessions of conferences or congresses, symposiums, company presentations, dance and musical performances.

The Council Chamber has a very special atmosphere thanks to its ornately decorated fireplace. It is an ideal location for meetings, training courses and presentations, as well as a wedding or a private lunch or dinner.
