The Netherlands Course in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (NTC), better known as Dutch Tropical Course, takes place for the 130th time at the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in Amsterdam. The first course (formerly known as NTA) took place in 1963. The course is still part of the training for tropical doctors, but since 2005 it has also become the core course of the Masters in International Health.

To celebrate this moment you are kindly invited to a mini symposium:

Strong past, healthy future?
The role of Medical development cooperation in low income countries

A part of this symposium is also the celebration of the graduation of the 130th NTC course.

This event is meant for:

  • People interested in international health
  • NTC alumni
  • Family and friends from current graduates.

Please register before 10 December 2011

If you have registered and are unable to attend, please let us know via NTC@kit.nl

We look forward to meeting you on the 16th of December!
