Tropenmuseum Junior nomination

Tropenmuseum Junior has been nominated for the 2012 Children’s Museum Award, a new award, that was launched last year for the first time by the European Museum Academy and Hands On! International.

The international jury consists of ten professionals from amongst others Canada, Sweden, Spain and Israel, and is led by Dr. Herman Schafer. There were 28 candidates, from museums all over the world, from Norway to the Philippines, from Spain to Singapore. The winner will be announced on Wednesday 21 March 2012, during the Children’s Book Fair in the Genus Bononiae Museum in Bologna, Italy.
