About the magazine
Exchange on HIV/AIDS, Sexuality and Gender is a quarterly magazine on HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health and related issues such as gender, sexuality and rights. It is published by the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in the Netherlands in collaboration with SAfAIDS (Southern Africa HIV and AIDS Information Dissemination Service) in Zimbabwe. At the moment the magazine is only available in English, both electronically and in print. Hopefully, in the future we will be able to provide other languages. Until 2007, we also published Portuguese and French editions, copies of which can be found on this website. The print editions are widely distributed in resource-constrained countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Our readers can be found in all parts of the world. The magazine’s key objective is to share information, good practices and experiences regarding HIV/AIDS work among organisations and countries. Our main focus is on local and national level organisations and health services, although we also have many readers in government services, the media, international NGOs, UN agencies and the donor community.
Exchange is produced by KIT Information & Library Services. It is the successor to Sexual Health Exchange, which was published by KIT from 1998 to 2005. Archives can be found on this website.
