KIT's Social Development and Gender Equity area and and the Centre for Applied Legal Studies at the University of Witswatersrand in Johannesburg are jointly organizing a consultation meeting on gender and access to justice in sub-Saharan Africa, to be held in Johannesburg on 29 and 30 October.
This initiative arises from two inter-related fields of knowledge and practice: the area of international development policy and practice and feminist struggles to achieve equal rights and engender justice and the law.
