For whom?
The target audience is the global community of professionals, including researchers, policy-makers and students in developing countries. We especially aim to provide relevant information to professionals in the South.

Background
The idea for the portals originated with KIT Information & Library Services and other departments of KIT and reflect their activities, experiences, and competence in special areas of international development cooperation. The portals are managed and developed by KIT Information & Library Services in collaboration with subject specialists elsewhere in the Institute.

Updating frequency
The portals are updated with news, events and other content additions on an ongoing basis. We try to maintain reasonable link stability. However, some pages include links to news and events that are difficult to maintain because of their inherent volatility.
