Talent for Governance: Open courses 2012

The Hague Academy for Local Governance organises practice-oriented training courses for people involved in local governance. In 2012 6 mostly 2-week courses are on offer: (1) Decentralisation, Democratisation and Development; (2) Citizen Participation and Accountability; (3) Summercourse: Decentralisation and Local Governance; (4) Local Economic Development; (5) Local Service Delivery and the MDG’s; and (6) Peacebuilding and Local Governance.
Our work
The Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) supports decentralization to realize ‘good governance’ at the local level to improve rural livelihoods and achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
