The KIT department Information & Library Services (KIT ILS) facilitates worldwide access to (digital) information on development issues, such as sustainable development, poverty reduction, health issues, and cultural exchanges. KIT ILS also provides training, and advisory and information services on information management for development.

Do you need professional information services and access to relevant sources? KIT ILS offers information services focused on the needs of your organization via a customized webpage which can be accessed by staff at your headquarters and regional offices. KIT develops training material and organizes courses on a variety of subjects related to information management for development.
KIT designs and provides advisory services and undertakes research projects to strengthen the role of information management for development. KIT ILS cooperates with libraries in the South to build their institutional capacity. The department is specialized in integrating ICT into development programmes.
