The role of multiple and concurrent partnerships in the spread of HIV
In concurrent partnership, one may be in a sexual network with more than one ongoing sexual relationship at the same time. Therefore, concurrent partnerships expose everybody in an ongoing sexual network to greater risk of HIV infection.
