Afval naar oogst
An average garbage bag in Amsterdam consists of about 1/3 organic waste. Such a waste! Do you also want to find a better destination for your vegetable and garden waste? Then participate in the Afval naar Oogst project. At a community garden in your neighborhood, you can deposit your organic waste, which will then be turned into compost for the community garden. This way, we turn your waste into food.
Don’t live near the KIT? No problem! You can deposit your waste at one of the other community gardens participating in the Afval naar Oogst project.
Do you have green fingers and want to use them, and do you want to learn more about composting? You can help us greatly by becoming a volunteer! As a ‘compostino,’ you will help along with your neighbors throughout the entire Afval naar Oogst process. Indicate on the registration form that you want to become a volunteer, and we will contact you!
