Change of Board at KIT
The Board of Governors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Schneiders as KIT’s new Director from the 1st of June, 2014. Schneiders is a career banker with extensive experience in international banking in Africa, Asia and South America. Previously he worked for ING, Amicorp and African Development Corporation.
Schneiders replaces Derk Vermeer who was instrumental in leading KIT’s transition phase and for laying the foundation for a healthy and prosperous future.
As of 2014, the new KIT is poised to provide innovative solutions, practical advice, training and education services to international organisations, governments, private companies, NGOs and students. They appreciate KIT as their partner in international development and cooperation, and for helping them increase their effectiveness in improving health, and progress towards social and economic change. KIT’s strength lies in its experience of working in and working with different cultures.
As an international knowledge institution, KIT continues to undertake research, documentation and publication of learning from all over the world. KIT has 160 employees and works with many partners.
