E-Learning Courses

Virtual courses can be followed from home. Our e-learning courses are offered through different online platforms and KIT Virtual Grounds. The courses are taught through a combination of live presentations, virtual classroom discussions, group work, and self-paced activities to be done at home. Interaction is very much part of KIT’s teaching methods, so in our e-learning courses we will also ensure a high degree of participation.

Due to COVID-19, a number of short courses in Spring 2020 were temporarily given as e-learning courses so participants could follow them safely from home. Should the situation again not allow for face-to-face learning, we will consider doing this again.

Below you will find our e-learning courses. Please note that due to the corona situation the list may change.

Rebuilding Disrupted Health Systems – Developing context-specific strategies for health care policies, implementation and governance (E-learning) (RDHS-E)

This e-learning course strengthens you to address health system challenges in complex emergencies and fragile states. To prepare you for improving these challenging situations we will analyse roles and strategies of key actors, humanitarian aid and politics, and human rights policies. You will thus become able to develop context-specific strategies for rebuilding disrupted health systems.

This course is tropEd accredited. It can be followed as a stand-alone course or as part of the
Master in International Health programme.
