KIT is a member of TropEd, an international network of European institutions for higher education in international health. TropEd provides postgraduate opportunities for study contributing to sustainable development, and helps to establish a common standard in education.
All KIT short courses are TropEd accredited.

KIT students of the flexible Master in International Health programme can follow advanced modules in TropEd institutes all over the world. Students who study at Master in International Health programme at another TropEd institute can follow advanced modules at KIT.
