What happens with return flights if I cannot leave the Netherlands due to travel restrictions or other coronavirus control measures? (This can be the case due to country policy or sickness.)

Frequently asked question

Current students:

KIT Education is in close contact with students who are currently in the Netherlands. We take a case-by-case approach while supporting students experiencing difficulties returning home. As part of this support, we can assist students in contacting embassies and helping them to find alternative travel options. KIT is unable to provide financial support or accommodation for students who are unable to return to their countries due to travel restrictions.

Students coming to future courses:

KIT is closely following the guidelines issued by the Dutch government, the Dutch National Institute for Public Health (RIVM) and the World Health Organisation (WHO). Courses will only run with face-to-face sessions if the situation allows. Participants living outside The Netherlands must check that there are no travel restrictions between their home country and The Netherlands before making travel arrangements.

The courses taking place in May and June will be offered virtually. If future courses are running in classrooms again, online participation is also possible.
