My name is Anna Kasililika and I am a medical doctor specializing in reproductive biology. Sexual and reproductive health education needed in Tanzania

I have worked in settings where I encountered many patients with infertility who were unaware of the causes, unaware of treatment options, unable to afford the cost, and where there are no guidelines or laws for assisted reproduction in the country. After this course, I would like to advocate for changes by preventing infertility through sexual and reproductive health education, treating patients with dignity, and working with potential stakeholders to improve infertility care in my country.

I would like to see accessible, affordable, and accurate treatment of infertility available to patients with infertility around the world.

A holistic approach when addressing infertility

I would like to see accessible, affordable, and accurate treatment of infertility available to patients with infertility around the world.

This Masters will equip me with the skills to address these current health problems from multiple perspectives. I want to understand health issues not only from an individual level but also in relation to socio-economic and political contexts. This holistic approach is essential for creating effective solutions in sexual and reproductive health, particularly in addressing infertility care in my community and country.
