How and when to apply for a KIT Fund Scholarship?

Thanks to donations from foundations, companies and individual donors this year, KIT Fund offers a limited number of scholarships to those who will start their Master in Public Health and Health Equity at KIT in September 2026.

These scholarships are available to talented health professionals from low- and middle-income countries who aim to improve the health systems they work in, and therefore come to study a Master’s programme at KIT Institute. More information, eligibility criteria and application deadlines can be found here:

Only apply when you are submitted to the Master’s programme

To apply for the KIT Fund (Partial) scholarship, one must have unconditional admission to KIT for the Master of Public Health and Health Equity 2026-2027. It is therefore recommended to start your admission procedure for the Master programme as soon as possible.

When can I apply for a KIT Fund Scholarship?

The applications open during the year. The amount of scholarships available will depend entirely on the commitments and gifts of donors. We expect to open the application procedure for a Partial KIT Fund Scholarship beginning of December 2025.

Candidates

Most KIT Fund scholarships are available to talented health professionals from low- and middle-income countries who aim to improve the health systems they work in, and therefore come to study a Master’s programme at KIT Institute.

We specifically encourage candidates from countries ranking high on the fragile state index, from Indonesia, the MENA-region or candidates with a strong interest or professional background in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) to apply.
