About KIT Fund: Scholarships

Your support for one student can mean better health for thousands!

The KIT Fund offers scholarships to talented health professionals from low-income countries to follow a Master’s programme in International or Public Health at KIT. This enables them to make a positive contribution to the healthcare systems in their own country and around the world.

Objectives of the fund

The fund aims to contribute to capacity building in low and middle-income countries through higher education and research purpose from KIT Royal Tropical Institute or in cooperation with other organizations. Working name of the fund is KIT Scholarship Fund. In the autumn of 2023 we will officially use the name KIT Fund and start fundraising for knowledge and research (next to scholarships).

Renumeration

The foundation is not-for-profit. Board members receive no remuneration for their work. The foundation aims to keep costs as low as possible in order to use your gift for its intended purpose: providing scholarships for students from low- and middle-income countries to study at KIT.
