Holding the critical edge
KIT Gender and its partners regularly organise conferences and other forums on gender, rights and development issues. These events serve as platforms to share experiences, and as forums for participants to reflect, rethink and energise their work.
These occasions create safe spaces for practitioners, researchers, policy makers, activists, lobbyists and gender experts to share experiences, discuss dilemmas, and contribute to cutting-edge thinking in the field.
Our forums build on KIT’s Gender Knowledge activities by creating spaces for practitioners to constructively and critically engage with different approaches to gender work. By engaging with both differences and commonalities, KIT Gender aims to use different knowledge bases to strengthen women’s rights and gender equality.
