Publication Saameynta Lessons Learned document

The Saameynta 2024 Lessons learned Report was recently published following a collaborative writeshop facilitated by Rebecca Rosario Hallin in June. Participating parties were the implementing partners IOM – UN Migration, UN-Habitat Somalia, and UNDP Somalia.

The document outlines insights, lessons learned, challenges, and gaps related to durable solutions for internal displacement in Somalia, with land governance at its core. The Lessons Learned report has been developed as a Knowledge Managament product in the LAND-at-scale programme.

KIT Institute is the knowledge management focal point for the country partners in the LAND-at-scale programme. The Saameynta project operates under the Somali Joint Fund climate window and is jointly funded by the LAND-at-scale programme managed by the Netherlands Enterpise Agency (RVO), the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD).
