Register for the ‘Global Health Ethics & Equity’ summer course 2023

This July, KIT will collaborate with the University Medical Centre of Utrecht on a short summer course called Global Health Ethics and Equity for the Utrecht Summer School.

The course will be centred around the challenges and potential solutions to global health ethics and equity.

We also collaborated on this course in 2022. And like the course last year, this year too, KIT’s Sandra Alba will host a session on bridging research integrity and global health epidemiology. Sandra is part of the research fairness initiative that developed the BRIDGE guidelines to address issues of integrity and fairness in international health research, specifically for global health research.

This initiative broadly aligns with the calls to decolonise knowledge and dismantle practices that award the best-equipped, and often the wealthiest institutions, a competitive advantage.

Global Health Ethics and Equity.

“This course is a great opportunity for global health researchers and practitioners to get up-to-date knowledge on research equity and justice,” says Sandra.

The short course also complements the course at KIT: Good epidemiological practice (GEP): implementation and analysis of global health studies
