Reimagining the possible – feminist principles in practice
Since 2017, together with UN Women Training Centre, KIT Institute has run Feminist Edge – a professional development programme for gender trainers. Feminist Edge re-captures and re-imagines gender training as a feminist project, establishing a new approach to training for gender equality. On Tuesday August 6th, Feminist Edge is hosting a Special Event to launch the Alumni Network.
We are honored and delighted to be joined by renowned research-activist Arturo Escobar whose guest lecture is entitled: Against Terricide – the revolution of care. Following Arturo’s talk programme contributors Maitrayee Mukopadhyay and Ana Victoria Portocarrero will act as commentators providing a feminist (re-)framing of his groundbreaking work. It promises to be a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives to reimagine what is possible and bring feminist principles into practice.
