We are happy that there are scholarship options from the Orange Knowledge Programme and new opportunities from the MSP MENA scholarship programme to study short courses in spring 2023. OKP Scholarships
Apply first to KIT Royal Tropical Institute for academic admission (if applying for OKP), as soon as possible but at the latest by 4 September 2022.

Health Policy and Financing
Course dates: 15 May – 2 June 2023
An in-depth look at important issues and current debates in health policy, health economics and health financing, taking into account the diverse profit and not for profit systems.
Courses on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, and HIV and AIDS
Sexual and Reproductive health and Rights including HIV and AIDS
Course dates: 6 – 24 March 2023
This course explores key principles of SRHR practice across a range of content areas. It also explores key considerations for SRHR and HIV policy and practices.
Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights: Organising Effective Responses
Course dates: 11 April – 3 May 2023
This course builds on current evidence to critically identify and analyse responses across the health system, including emergency and fragile state settings. It also focuses on making services equitable accessible to marginalised groups and key populations.
Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights: Policy, Governance and Financing
Course dates: 15 May – 2 June 2023
In this course participants become acquainted with the policy instruments, governance mechanisms and financial structures related to SRHR.
Sante et Droits Sexuels et Reproductifs (in French)
Course dates: 12 -23 June 2023

Courses on Disease Management
Control Strategies for Infectious and non-communicable diseases
Course dates: 11 April – 3 May 2023
In this course a number of communicable and non-communicable (NCD) diseases are used as models to demonstrate different aspects and principles of disease control.
GIS for Global Health
Course dates: 19 June – 30 June 2023
In this training you will learn what data and methods are used to detect areas of high disease risk and to compare these with geographic patterns of health service delivery.

The Orange Knowledge Programme individual scholarships are open to mid-career professionals, who are nationals of – and living and working in – the following countries:

MSP Scholarships

Eligible countries MSP Scholarship
You may be eligible for an MSP scholarship if you are living and working in the following countries:
Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Tunisia
Syria: Syrians can apply for a scholarship if they are living and working in one of the other countries listed above.

More information: Details on the MSP scholarship and different criteria per country. Please visit the Nuffic website and click on your country to find all details per country. Here you will also find instructions on extra forms you have to prepare. We advise you to start up this process already as it may take some time.
(Please note that KIT courses are not yet added to the Nuffic website for MSP scholarship).
The application process for the scholarship is the same as for the OKP scholarship. You have to apply for academic admission to KIT first, if you are admitted you will receive a link to a link to Delta, the online system, where you can apply. You will receive the link once the application period opens, after 31 August 2022.

Course dates: 12 – 16 December 2022
Participants learn skills and knowledge needed to critically appraise and reflect on epidemiological practice in global health, as a basis for high quality impactful research.
Global Perspectives on Digital Health
2 weeks in May and June 2023
This new two-weeks blended course offers an introduction to the broad, diverse, and rapidly changing field of digital health, including a strong emphasis on how digital health functions in reality in various settings.
Qualitative Methods in Health Systems Research
Course dates: 18 January – 7 February 2023
Participants gain experience in each step of the qualitative research process and learn ways to enhance the utilisation of research results.
Human Resources for Health
Course dates: 13 – 24 February 2023
This course provides knowledge and skills that health care managers, policy makers and planners need for human resource management. It discusses strategies at country and workplace level to address health workforce issues.
Master in International Health (MIH)
Course dates: start dates 6 March 2023 or 11 September 2023
Full-time or part-time option possible (1 up to 5 years)
The aim of the MIH is to develop the capacity of health professionals working at the interface of international organisations and national health systems.
Netherlands Course in Global Health and Tropical Medicine (NTC)
(core course MIH or stand-alone course)
Course dates: 6 March – 9 June 2023 or autumn (given twice a year)
This course provides essential preparation for health professionals such as medical doctors, nurses and midwives planning to work in low and middle income countries.
