Low incomes continue to be a root cause of some of the most persistent problems in many agricultural commodity sectors. The EnRoute project focusses on finding practical, innovative and cost-effective ways to support cocoa farming households towards Living Income. This section outlines the context of the EnRoute project, the aims of the project and its key objectives.

This paper documents the decision-making process around the Living Income strategies and packages adopted for EnRoute, a Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) funded project. The EnRoute project focuses on finding practical, innovative and costeffective ways to support cocoa farming families towards earning a Living Income without the use of child labour.
