Glimpses from the conference

The conference discussed actionable strategies to support recovery across two phases: i) early recovery and transition, and ii) long-term recovery. Every session was co-developed with its speakers, namely Palestinian and international health experts with experience in Gaza or other emergency settings. It was stressed throughout the conference that advocating for an immediate ceasefire remains the ultimate priority for humanity and to start rebuilding.

This report outlines the key issues and priorities identified by this collective of local and global experts and should be used as a guidance document by stakeholders working in Gaza’s healthcare system.
