Lisa feels strongly committed to the advancement of sexual and reproductive health and rights for all. At KIT she works as SRHR advisor, researcher and educator with a focus on safe abortion, youth sexuality and sexual and gender based violence particularly in West Africa and Latin America.

Before joining KIT she lived for several years in Central America working on resource mobilization for women’s rights programmes and feminist organisations. In the Netherlands, she started working on research and policymaking from a health systems perspective. She is a psychologist with a master’s degree in international organizations and a research master’s in development studies.
