Yasmine is a passionate Global Health specialist committed to promoting health equity and social justice. Currently, Yasmine works as a member of the education team at KIT. As an advisor and facilitator, she plays a role in the development and delivery of courses.
Additionally, Yasmine collaborates with other teams, by contributing to projects related to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights as well as Health Systems Strengthening.
Yasmine has been involved in advocacy projects addressing health challenges in conflict settings, discrimination in healthcare, and the impact of COVID-19 on health access. She has also contributed as a community advisor to the largest Canadian study on the impact of COVID-19 on mental health in the queer community.
Yasmine has also previously completed an internship at the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health and was involved in projects focused on evidence-based policy and the decolonization of Global Health.
