Application process steps
Here you find a step by step guide of our application process.
- Register in our online application system via the course of your choice on our website: www.kit.nl/study Receive login details from our application system by e-mail. (Check your Spam folder if you do not receive the email).
- Upload all required documents and submit your application.
- You will receive a decision on your application by e-mail within a month of submission of your complete application If accepted. you will receive an Admission Letter and Financial Statement.
- Starting point on scholarship options: visit our website www.kit.nl/scholarships
- Send your signed Financial Statement to KIT Course Administration if you have proven funding and want to secure your place in the course: courses@kit.nl
- KIT Royal Tropical Institute will send you the invoice details after receipt of your signed Financial Statement. Your application is considered final and we will reserve a place in the course of your choice. Cancellation policy applies if you cancel your participation (see website for more info).
- Make your payment as indicated in the invoice you have received from KIT (visa application is only possible after full payment!).
- The KIT Course Administration Office will be in contact with you regarding visa, accommodation, insurance, etc. (for Masters courses: 3 months before the start of the course)
- Arrival at KIT Royal Tropical Institute. Welcome!
