Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Programme (JJ/WBGS programme) 2025-2026 open now

KIT is on the list of eligible institutes of the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGS programme). This programme awards scholarships to individuals from World Bank member countries to undertake graduate studies at universities renowned for their development research and teaching. It is a vehicle for knowledge sharing and capacity building in the developing world.

Eligible programme at KIT Institute:
Master of Public Health and Health Equity. Please note that only the specialisaton track Health Systems and Policy is eligible for this scholarship. Make sure to write this correctly in your application.

For the academic year 2025-2026 the JJ/WBGS organization is continuing a selection procedure in which KIT Institute will pre-select qualifying candidates.

Please note that we are under Application Window#1, under KIT Royal Tropical Instite/Vrije Universiteit. Only applicants with academic admission can apply for this scholarship.

This form will be closed Monday 6 January 2025, 08:00 Dutch local time. After this day and time it is no longer possible to apply.

January 13th 2025, we will send out the results of this pre-selection. If you have been nominated you will then receive the official link (and form) of the JJ/WBGS organization to apply for the JJ/WBGS scholarship.

The JJ/WBGS scholarship registration link will close 28 February 2025, 12:00 EST. No further correspondence is possible between registration and the outcome.
