Training programmes Intercultural Professionals during Corona
We may not be able to travel, but the importance of international collaboration continues. In remote communication the impact of misunderstanding is amplified, and it is even more important to be interculturally effective.
Due to Coronavirus, the face-to-face modules of (group) trainings cannot take place until June 1st at the earliest. However, we have developed online solutions in several different formats to suit your needs and learning objectives. All of our training can still take place with the same level of quality and interaction. We not only give live virtual classroom trainings, but also provide blended combination programs applying our online assessments and e-learning platform. The programs have been restructured into online modular sessions of up to 2 hours.

Intercultural Professionals is the intercultural training and consultancy branch of the KIT Royal Tropical Institute. Our approach to cultural awareness focuses on how you can connect and build strong relationships in an intercultural context. At the individual level we believe that self-awareness is essential for creating intercultural successes.
Participants in our programmes become aware of their individual preferences and habits, explore what reactions these may elicit from others, and how this relates to cultural experiences. At the same time our trainers and experts help participants understand these situations in specific intercultural contexts—offering ample opportunity to discover new skills and define effective individual communication strategies. The results are practical tools for individuals to work successfully with culturally-diverse teams, projects, and international partners.
