Share-Net Netherlands (SNNL) is the Dutch knowledge platform for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and one of the country hubs of Share-Net International. Share-Net Netherlands is hosted by the KIT Royal Tropical Institute and has individual members and organisational members which work in low- and middle- income countries and in the Netherlands on SRHR.

In 2021, Share-Net Netherlands has 17 active Communities of Practice (CoPs) where researchers, practitioners and policy-makers come together to collaborate, co-create and learn from each other regarding thematic topics and in a cross-cutting manner. The knowledge management activities of CoPs are intended to aid member organisations and individual members in advancing their own agendas and to create synergies so that work is not duplicated but complimented and strengthened.

One of Share-Net’s Communities of Practice is focused on SRHR and Climate Change. This recently created working group is comprised of individuals and organisations working on /interested in working on the interlinkages between health, gender and climate change. Our focus is to identify and address knowledge gaps, share best practices, and influence the policy and programme agenda in relation to SRHR and Climate Change.
