KIT Scholarship Fund is a sub-fund of the independent foundation KIT Fund, for education and research.
Objectives of the foundation
The foundation is to contribute to capacity building in low and middle income countries through higher education and research purpose from the Royal Tropical Institute or in cooperation with other organizations.

The foundation is not-for-profit. Board members receive no remuneration for their work. The foundation aims to keep costs as low as possible in order to use your gift for its intended purpose: providing scholarships for students from low- and middle-income countries to study at KIT.
KIT Fund for Training and Research was established in July 2013.
