Launch of the CGIAR Collaborative Platform for Gender Research

News

January 2017 marked the launch of Phase 2 of the CGIAR Research Programs (CRPs) and with that, the start-up of the CGIAR Collaborative Platform for Gender Research. The gender research platform is housed in the CRP Policies, Institutions, and Markets and serves all CGIAR research programs. It aims to increase the visibility and impact of gender research undertaken across CGIAR. The Platform supports priority setting for gender research, strategic partnerships, capacity development, and collaboration between and among CGIAR programs, Centers, and partners. The Platform Coordinator, Rhiannon Pyburn, is based at the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in Amsterdam, supported by a communications team.
