Stage with a mission

KIT Live is a new stage for art, culture and debate in Amsterdam. A stage for local initiatives and events that fit our mission to contribute to inclusion and sustainability in the city.

KIT Live consists of two dance and music studios, a 180-seat theatre, a podcast studio, and KIT Café: a coffee and lunch venue open six days a week, Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Since September last year, the studios of KIT Live have been the new home of the Kids of Amsterdam: a dance and music school for youth from the neighbourhood. The renovation of the theatre and furnishing of the podcast studio are still in progress.

KIT Live is located in the KIT’s landmark building. It has its own entrance on Linnaeusstraat. Visitors to the World Museum can enter the KIT Café from inside.
