Following a full renovation, the former Tropenhotel will reopen as Hotel V Oosterpark as part the Hotel V family of hotels operated by the Conscious Group.

We are pleased to announce that our hotel building will soon reopen. After extensive renovations, the building is ready for a new chapter — once again becoming a special place in the city.

To do justice to the potential of the hotel, we have entered into a lease agreement with the Conscious Group, an Amsterdam-based hotel group known for its sustainable hospitality concepts. The Conscious Group will operate the hotel independently as Hotel V Oosterpark.

We are happy to have found a suitable like-minded operator for the hotel, allowing us to focus on other activities based in our monumental main building, including KIT Campus, our resident community of 1000+ changemakers, our international knowledge centre KIT Institute, our theatre KIT Live, and the conference and events facilities of KIT Events.
