New members Supervisory Board and Council of Members
We are pleased to welcome two new members to our Council of Members and a new member to our Supervisory Board.
Serpil Tascioglu, Director Global Food Innovation & Strategy for Unilever, will be replacing Maarten le Clercq on our Supervisory Board. Rachida Talal-Azimi, Secretary to the Board of the Worldconnectors, and Anneke Sipkens, Director of ANBO, joined our Council of Members.
With their diverse backgrounds, the new members are bound to make a valuable contribution to KIT’s work. We are looking forward to working together towards a more inclusive and sustainable world.
Serpil Tascioglu, Director Global Food Innovation & Strategy for Unilever
Serpil Tascioglu is the Director Global Food Innovation & Strategy
at Unilever. She is leading the creation of Unilever’s new
Global Foods Innovation Centre at Wageningen Campus in
The Netherlands. Furthermore, she works at the World Economic
Forum on global issues. She is a manager for the
new generation, and she manages with compassion and a
moral compass.
Rachida Talal-Azimi, Secretary to the Board of the Worldconnectors
Rachida Talal-Azimi is secretary to the Board of the
Worldconnectors. She is currently working on her PhD at the
Radboud University Nijmegen. Rachida is conducting research on
the diversity of rules and systems within the international market
of Islamic banking. She used to work at the department of
Economic Research at Rabobank, and before that, she worked
at the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets.
Anneke Sipkens, Director of ANBO
Anneke Sipkens has been the Director of ANBO since January 1st 2021, where she wants to ensure that the growing group of elderly continues to participate actively. She has a background in Business Psychology and Business Administration and worked as a marketeer for big brands. Later in her career she focussed on advising companies in the field of sustainability. The years before ANBO she led the DOEN foundation, which supports budding entrepreneurs who want to make the world a better place.
