Marielle van Rumpt

Marielle van Rumpt is the General Manager for KIT Hospitality. She is responsible for all hospitality activities at KIT – from KIT hotel to KIT Events and KIT Cafe. In addition to achieving financial results, Marielle also focuses on achieving sustainable business operations.

Marielle studied Hotel Management before starting her professional career at NH Hotels, where she worked her way up from the reception desk to the finance department of 12 NH Hotels to finally the Front Office Manager at NH Tropen. She joined KIT as Rooms Division Manager in 2015 when KIT acquired the NH Tropen (renamed as the Amsterdam Tropen Hotel). Marielle later became HR Manager for the Hotel, while also completing her degree in Organisational Psychology Management.  In her current role, Marielle is committed to integrating KIT’s broader sustainability ambitions with the hospititality and future development plans.
