KIT and UN Women are pleased to open registration for its certified Professional Development Programme for Gender Trainers, which runs from October 2017 to April 2018.
This new six-month course combines blended learning (face-to-face workshops in Amsterdam and virtual workshops) with mentoring and networking to:
• sharpen training skills and knowledge of gender and development concepts as a gender equality trainer
• enable participants to better employ learning and knowledge strategies
• support participants to re-claim training for gender equality as a political feminist process
• facilitate participants to professionally and personally renew themselves as gender equality trainers and their commitment to gender training as a transformatory process.
We’ve assembled a great team of resource persons (Anne Marie Goetz, Gloria Bonder and Lucy Ferguson to name a few) in addition to KIT gender training specialists.
There is a webinar to learn more, which is being offered at two different times on Monday May 22, 2017. Please click on one if you would like to participate
• 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM EDT
• 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM EDT
We hope this would be of interest to your partners and networks. Please feel free to share this opportunity widely.
