Gender Mainstreaming in the Private Infrastructure Development Group

The Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) requested support in gender mainstreaming their development finance funds. A strategy towards realising gender equality, or at least awareness of inequalities.

Integration of a gender perspective

This project involves the integration of a gender perspective into the preparation, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies/investments, with a view to promoting equality between women and men, and combating discrimination. Research focused on risks and opportunities for women and girls as stakeholders, users and workers of infrastructure facilities funded by development finance institutions across a wide range of sectors and geographies.
