NFP Scholarships for KIT short courses – deadline 20 October 2015

For a number of KIT courses there are scholarships available from the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP).
Registration period NFP: 3 September – 20 October 2015
First apply to KIT before: 20 September 2015

Applicants from NFP countries are strongly encouraged to apply for an NFP scholarship. For further information on the scholarship, the list of NFP countries and application instructions visit our NFP page.

Courses on Health Systems Strengthening

  • Human Resources for Health
    Course dates: 29-2-2016 to 11-3-2016
    Provides knowledge and skills that health care managers, policy makers and planners need for human resource management. It discusses strategies at country and workplace level to address health workforce issues.
  • Health Policy and Financing
    Course dates: 11-4-2016 to 26-4-2016
    An in-depth look at important issues and current debates in health policy, health economics and health financing, taking into account the diverse profit and not for profit systems.

Courses on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, and HIV and AIDS

  • Analysing Dynamics of HIV and AIDS Epidemics & Prevention
    Course dates: 14-3-2016 to 1-4-2016
    The course aims to help participants analyse the drivers of the epidemic and identify prevention, treatment, care and support strategies, including impact mitigation.
  • Sexual and Reproductive health and Rights including HIV and AIDS
    Course dates: 14-3-2016 tot 1-4-2016
    Development of critical analysis of relevant concepts related to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and HIV/AIDS and appraisal of key issues and interventions in the area of SRHR and HIV/AIDS.
  • HIV Policy, Governance and Financing (e-learning)
    Course dates: 11-4-2016 to 4-5-2016
    Participants identify HIV and AIDS-related international agreements, conventions and financial mechanisms, and analyse how these influence national planning and implementation and vice versa.
  • Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights: Organising Effective Responses
    Course dates: 17-5-2016 to 2-6-2016
    How to improve access to equitable, quality sexual and Reproductive Health/HIV and AIDS services with a focus on rights is analysed, while improving integration of services as well as voice and participation.
  • HIV: Organising Effective Responses
    Course dates: 17-5-2016 to 2-6-2016
    This module critically analyses key aspects of health system’s response to the epidemic and how the health system itself has been impacted.

NFP scholarships for master programs

For the following master programs there are NFP scholarships available. Application deadline NFP is 15 March 2016. Applicants should apply first to KIT for admission. Follow the links for more information.

Other scholarship options

There are a number of other scholarship options to study at KIT. Options differ per nationality and profession.  Examples:
