Scholarships for KIT courses in Spring 2018: deadlines approaching!

Scholarships from Netherlands Fellowship Programme

For a large number of KIT courses in winter and spring 2018 there are scholarships available from the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP).

Registration period NFP: 1 September – 27 October 2017
First apply to the course at KIT (apply before 10 October 2017, or check individual course deadline via links below)

Follow the links below for more information on each course and apply directly for your course of choice through our online application system. You have to apply separately for the NFP scholarship.

IMPORTANT: The NFP regulations for this upcoming deadline have changed. The number of countries eligible for an NFP scholarship has been reduced from 52 to 28 countries.
If you are from one of these 28 NFP countries you are strongly encouraged to apply for an NFP scholarship.

Please note that these advanced courses can also be followed as advanced module of the Master in International Health (MIH).

 

Courses on Health Systems Strengthening

  • Qualitative Methods in Health Systems Research
    Course dates: 23 January – 8 February 2018
    This course discusses which methods to use to answer different health system research questions. You will gain experience in each step of the research process and develop your own research proposal.
  • Human Resources for Health
    Course dates: 26 February – 9 March 2018
    This course provides knowledge and skills that health care managers, policy makers and planners need for human resource management. It discusses strategies at country and workplace level to address health workforce issues.
  • Health Policy and Financing
    Course dates: 14 – 30 May 2018
    An in-depth look at important issues and current debates in health policy, health economics and health financing, taking into account the diverse profit and not for profit systems.
