We are happy to inform you that there are scholarships from Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) available for Master’s programmes 2017-2018 and short courses summer 2017.

NFP Scholarships for Masters programmes 2017-2018

We are happy to inform you that there are scholarships available from the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) to follow the Master of Public Health/International Course in Health Development (MPH/ICHD) starting in September 2017. This course is a 12-month Masters programme organised by KIT (Royal Tropical Institute) and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) on location in our historic building in Amsterdam.

You can choose from the following study tracks:
MPH – Track in Health Systems Policy and Management
MPH – Track in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights
NEW: MPH – Track in Health Systems and Fragile and Conflict-affected Environments
If you are from one of the 51 NFP countries you are strongly encouraged to apply for an NFP scholarship. For further information on the scholarship, the list of NFP countries, and application instructions visit our NFP webpage.

NFP Scholarship deadline
Apply to your desired course at KIT, following the links above, before 20 February 2017.
Registration period NFP: 3 February – 22 March 2017

General application deadline
Deadline KIT for applicants with other funding is 15 June 2017.


NFP scholarships for courses in summer 2017

For a number of KIT courses in summer 2017 there are scholarships available from the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP).

NFP Scholarship deadline

Registration period NFP: 3 February – 22 March 2017

General application deadline
Deadline KIT for applicants with other funding is 2 months before the start of the course.

Monitoring and Evaluation in a dynamic health environment (M&E)
Course dates: 14 – 25 August 2017
This advanced practitioners course equips participants with up-to-date knowledge and state-of-the-art monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools enabling them to answer such questions as:
What models, frameworks and tools are suitable for a specific evaluation? How to balance the perspectives of different stakeholders?

Analysing Disrupted Health Systems in Countries in Crisis
Course dates: 14 – 25 August 2017
This course focuses on the analysis of health systems in countries affected by, or recovering from, protracted crisis. It is organised jointly with the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Save the Children and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
