SHARP Scholarships KIT Master’s Public Health
The South Sudan Health Action and Research Project (SHARP) is pleased to announce that it will offer Scholarships for health professionals from South Sudan to follow an International Masters Programme in Public Health at the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in Amsterdam.
SHARP’s mission is to reduce maternal mortality in Northern Bahr el Ghazal, Western Bahr el Ghazal and Upper Nile states through the implementation of the South Sudan Ministry of Health Comprehensive Sexual & Reproductive Health Strategic Plan. SHARP intends to do this amongst other things by strengthening the capacity of local policy and decision makers working on public health. The successful applicants will take courses specifically on sexual and reproductive health during their Masters, and upon return will be expected to contribute to improving the sexual and reproductive health situation in South Sudan.
