Adama Bah, PhD, is a development economist with expertise in economic modelling and econometric analysis of small and large datasets, as well as in research design, in particular for impact evaluations. Her ambition is to help create opportunities for disadvantaged people and groups to fully and actively participate in all areas of society through knowledge development and innovation.
She has worked on a number of international development issues, including social inclusion and community development, and in a number of developing countries in Asia, Latin America and Africa. Her strength is to appropriately apply rigorous applied research tools to generate hands-on, effective solutions for companies and organisations seeking to create meaningful impact on the ground. At KIT, she is working on (financial) inclusion and on sustainable and transformative strategies for agriculture, in particular for tree crops.
