Chantale Al Lakis

Chantale Al Lakis is an epidemiologist with several years of experience practicing in different geographical areas. She obtained her master’s degree in Epidemiology from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon following her Master’s in Healthcare Management from University of Surrey, UK.

Chantale began her career as a quality management system specialist at a university hospital in Beirut focusing on improving the quality of clinical care. During her tenure at Médecins Sans Frontières, she helped improve the monitoring and evaluation systems for a range of programmes such as sexual and reproductive health, mental health, non-communicable diseases, and other disciplines.

Throughout her career, Chantale has refined her analytical and research skills working in multicultural and diverse contexts including fragile ones. She has worked in different contexts in Lebanon, Central African Republic, and Niger, and is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
