Francine Egberts

Francine has worked in the field of international development since 2004 and has Masters in Communication Science (UvA) and International Development (Radboud University).

From 2008 – 2014 she lived in Asia and Africa and worked on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights for young people (UNFPA, Mongolia) and donor coordination in the health sector and water sector (Embassy of The Netherlands, Mozambique). From 2015 – 2018, Francine worked for MDF training & consultancy where she worked as an evaluator of large and complex programmes and trainer of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for international groups. Her areas of expertise include M&E, SRHR for young people and facilitating change processes, including training.

Currently, Francine works as M&E coordinator for the Yes I Do Alliance (YIDA), funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and covering 7 countries. In this Alliance, KIT works together with Plan International Netherlands, Rutgers, Amref and CHOICE for Youth and Sexuality to end child marriage, teenage pregnancy and female genital mutilation and cutting.
